09.10.22 Dogshow in Jølster

Sunnfjord Hundeklubb National Dogshow in lovely Jølster yesterday. The show was as always very good organized and in a new big spacious arena. With good size rings and on excellent artificial grass, the hounds could show off some good moves. The weather was not the best, but as long as we are indoors, it does not matter.

The judge was Jetta Tschokkinen (Finland).

I showed only puppies and juniors, and had a lovely day ringside with the best people . Thank you so much for all the lovely videos and pictures Ine Dyngeland and Benedicte Tuft Aasen. . Thank you Kristin for helping me show Dawn. 

First out was the whippet puppies 5 month old.

In Finland to judge the Irish wolfhound specialty! Over 100 wolfhounds entered! So excited about this assignment. What an lovely event and some lovely hounds to put my hands on. Thank you so much to the club, organizers my ringpersonell and all the people who entered under me! I had such a lovely time!

Årets spesialutstilling er over for denne gang. Det ble stilt 10 Ballygran hunder. Så glad og takknemlig for alle de flotte folkene jeg har rundt meg som stilte opp, kom med hundene, rigget opp og ned Ballygran leiren og hjalp meg med å klargjøre og stille alle samme. Samt ta bilder og filme alle sammen. Dere vet hvem dere er, og jeg setter umåtelig pris på dere alle sammen. Også så utrolig kjekt å få se de vakre avkommene etter Innis og Valery. Virkelig lovende og vakre valper. Så stolt og glad for alle sammen.

19-20. june 2022 Nordic and Int NKK Show, Sandefjord

A lovely weekend is over. Had a lovely time meeting up with good friends, and also meeting new iw people was so lovely. The show was very well organized by the Norwegian Kennel Club and the show grounds was super! Thank you so much to Maya and Bent for your hospitality and a lovely stay! Thank you to Kristin, Kjersti, Gry, Heidi and Roar for always helping out. Thank you to Ine and Geir Tore for helping out with the dogs. Thank you to Benedicte, Maya, Roar and Ine for all the lovely photos and videos. Two hot days for us and the hounds, but they did very well! Also pleased with some nice results.

A dream came true, as I was invited to judge this show! What an honor, and a privilege! 09.04.22 A huge Celebration today as Sheelagh is 10 years old!

Today is a very special day"Sheelagh" - N Ch Ballygran's Gweneira Gwenn (N S Ch Ballygran's Fion Fleetwind McMagnum - N Ch Ballygran's Dara Dubh) is celebrating her 10th birthday. So we had a lovely quality walk, just her and I in the woods. And now she has eaten her special made birthday cake, tripe glacéd with wild berry yoghurt. And for dessert she got a dried meat roll. 

Even though I love all my hounds, there is always someone that are extra special, and she is one of them. As beautiful on the inside as outside, she is a joy to live with. Love her to bits.

Finally I was off to a Dogshow weekend again! It has been to long without shows and meeting people. This weekend it was a double Kennel Club show in Kristiansand.

My young whippet; Ballygran's Clover was not at all impressed about the show, but behaved very well, and god a VG. Judged by Mette Mørkegaard.

It does takes a village….Thank you so much for the pictures Bianca . Not an easy task when Jolene would not stand still for 2 sec.
